Hi everyone! It’s Stefano here, back with another update on KAMIKAZE.

Today, I’m super excited to announce that the KAMIKAZE - Pachinko file is live! Yep, you heard it right. You can now download the plans to build your very own Pachinko for the game. In this devlog, I’ll walk you through the steps to craft your own Kamikaze Pachinko.

Building the Pachinko: Step by Step

Materials

Before we dive in, let’s gather everything you’ll need:

• 37 wooden or plastic pins (thumbtacks work fine)
• A cardboard sheet, at least 45cm x 35cm
• The Pachinko layout (downloadable here)
• Scissors, glue, and a bit of patience 😄

Procedure

1. Print and Prepare: Start by printing the two A4 sheets that include the Pachinko layout. You’ll find marked points for the pins and the areas you’ll need to cut.

2. Attach the Layout to the Cardboard: Next, glue the printed sheets onto your cardboard, aligning them carefully to make sure everything matches up. As you can see in the image.

3. Insert the Pins: Using the indicated points on the printed layout, insert the 37 pins. They serve as the obstacles for the marbles (or dice). If you want to make them more secure, you can use some hot glue for extra stability.

4. Cut the Cardboard: Cut the cardboard along the marked lines, creating the three slots at the top. These are crucial, as this is where the marbles or dice will be dropped into the Pachinko.

5. Fold and Assemble: Here’s where it starts to take shape. Now, fold the cardboard along the colored borders. This step closes the box and gives the Pachinko its final shape. As shown in images, you’ll end up with a sturdy box with the pins inside, guiding your marbles towards one of the 13 numbered pockets at the bottom.

6. Final Touches: And that’s it! With a bit of glue here and there, your Pachinko is ready. Now, when you play KAMIKAZE, you can immerse yourself even more deeply by physically dropping the marbles into the Pachinko, letting fate (or gravity) decide the outcome.

Costruire il Pachinko: Passo per Passo

Materiali

Prima di iniziare, raccogliamo tutto il necessario:

• 37 puntine 
• Un foglio di cartone, almeno 45cm x 35cm
• Il progetto del Pachinko (scaricabile da qui)
• Forbici, colla e un po' di pazienza 😄

1. Stampa e Prepara: Inizia stampando i due fogli A4 che includono il layout del Pachinko. Troverai i punti segnati per le puntine e le aree da tagliare.

2. Incolla il Layout sul Cartone: Successivamente, incolla i fogli stampati sul cartone, allineandoli con attenzione per assicurarti che tutto corrisponda. Come puoi vedere nell'immagine.

3. Inserisci le Puntine: Usando i punti indicati sul layout stampato, inserisci le 37 puntine. Queste puntine serviranno da ostacoli per le biglie (o dadi). Se vuoi renderle più stabili, puoi utilizzare della colla a caldo.

4. Taglia il Cartone: Ritaglia il cartone lungo le linee segnate, creando le tre aperture in alto. Queste sono essenziali, poiché da qui verranno inserite le biglie o i dadi nel Pachinko.

5. Piega e Assembla: Ecco dove il tutto prende forma. Ora, piega il cartone lungo i bordi colorati. Questo passaggio chiude la scatola e dà al Pachinko la sua forma finale. Come mostrato nelle immagini, otterrai una scatola robusta con le puntine all'interno, che guideranno le tue biglie verso una delle 13 tasche numerate in basso.

6. Ritocchi finali: Ed ecco fatto! Con un po’ di colla qua e là, il tuo Pachinko è pronto. Ora, quando giochi a KAMIKAZE, potrai immergerti ancora di più, lasciando che le biglie cadano nel Pachinko e il destino (o la gravità) decida l’esito.
